I thoroughly enjoyed this second in the Carolina Slade Mystery series. I can't wait for the third in this series.
All the characters are so well developed and seem to spring naturally out of the South Carolina setting C.Hope Clark has so aptly depicted. I feel like I could call Carolina Slade up and talk to her. This is an action packed page turner; what every reader searches for. To quote Carolina Slade, "Danger's an aphrodisiac." So you better have your smokes ready when you close the book after the last satisfying page.
